St. Barbara Church
St. Barbara Church is one of the oldest rock-cut churches in the Göreme Open Air Museum. Dating to the 11th century, it is dedicated to Saint Barbara and is distinguished by its unusual red geometric decorations and symbolic wall paintings, which differ from the more traditional Byzantine frescoes found elsewhere in the museum.
