1. General Conditions
By making a booking with Kismet Göreme Travel, you accept this Cancellation & Refund Policy.
All services are subject to availability and operational conditions.
2. Nature of Services
Kismet Göreme Travel provides services:
Directly (own operations)
Through selected local partners
Some services (such as hot air balloon flights, tours, and activities) are operated by third-party suppliers.
Cancellation and refund terms may vary depending on the supplier.
3. Payment Conditions
Payments may be made online, by card, or on-site (cash or card)
Some services require advance confirmation details (passport info, names, etc.)
A booking is considered confirmed once payment or confirmation is received
4. Cancellation by the Guest
Hot Air Balloon Flights
Flights are subject to weather and aviation authority decisions
If cancelled due to weather → full refund or no charge
If cancelled by guest → supplier cancellation rules apply
Tours & Activities
Free cancellation is generally available up to 24 hours before the activity
Late cancellations or no-shows may be charged up to 100%
Private Tours & Special Services
May require advance payment or deposit
Cancellation conditions will be specified at the time of booking
5. Cancellation by the Agency
Kismet Göreme Travel reserves the right to cancel or modify services due to:
Weather conditions
Safety concerns
Operational requirements
Force majeure events
In such cases:
Alternative services may be offered
If not accepted → full refund provided
No additional compensation is provided in force majeure situations.
6. Refund Conditions
Approved refunds are processed within 7–14 business days
Card payments are refunded to the original payment method
Cash payments are refunded in cash or agreed method
Bank processing times may vary.
7. No-Show Policy
If the guest does not attend the booked service:
No refund will be issued
The booking is considered used
8. Service Start & Withdrawal Right
For tourism services:
Once the service has started or is about to start, withdrawal rights may not apply
Last-minute bookings may not be eligible for cancellation
9. Responsibility of the Guest
Guests must:
Provide accurate personal information
Arrive on time for services
Follow instructions provided before and during the activity
Failure to do so may result in loss of service without refund.
10. Exceptional Situation
In cases of:
Force majeure (weather, government decisions, natural events)
Operational limitations
We reserve the right to:
Reschedule
Offer alternatives
Provide partial or full refunds depending on the situation
11. Legal Framework
This policy is subject to:
Turkish Consumer Protection Law No. 6502
Distance Sales Regulation
Applicable Turkish legislation
